Overkings is a free to play 3D side scrolling Browser MMORPG. You can choose one of the 8 available unique player classes such as Assassin, Dryad, Amazon, Witch and others. The art style and graphics quality of the game are A grade and the gameplay happily reminds old school RPGs. 9. Ikariam
Ikariam is a 2d massive multi player strategy game set in the Greek Isles. Players start with a single town (Polis) on an island, and have to work with other island players in order to expand their territory via trade and conquest. 8. Travian
One of the classics. The golden standard of browser strategy games. Three totally different races (Romans, Gauls, or Teutons) and thousands of players compete for land and wealth in the race to construct a Wonder. 7. War 2 Glory
War2Glory is a real time browser strategy game set during the World War 2 conflict. Players are the Commander of a small city and must build, defend, trade, expand and fight enemy troops in order to be successful. Try it out now!
6. Pirate Storm
Published by Bigpoint, Pirate Storm is one of the best browser games for 2013. It is a pirate MMORTS/RPG, where your character is your ship. Your target is to become the strongest and most fearful pirate across the 7 seas. The game offers a lot of customization for your ship, different game modes and engaging pvp. 5. The Settlers Online
The Settlers is a historical game franchise. In it’s latest reincarnation, the game I grew up with, is a browser MMORTS. And it’s one of the best as expected from its name. The game is quite complex but it has an excellent tutorial that will guide you step by step in creating your mighty empire. The graphics and animation are top notch. 4. Forge of Empires
Made by browser game veteran InnoGames, Forge of Empires is one of the Top Browser games for 2013. It’s a browser-based strategy game where players must produce resources, develop an army, gain control of provinces, and research their way through several ages of history and development similar to Microsoft’s Age of Empires franchise. The game offers a very strong single player campaign, offers complex city building, interesting PvP and is very easy to learn. Try it out here!
3. Marvel Avengers Alliance
Marvel Avengers Alliance is a gem in the mass of browser games. It’s one of the most played and most advertised browser games in the history of the Internet. 1. Good Game Empire
My favorite game for 2013, and the one i’m still addicted to. (well this and Marvel Avengers Alliance…) Your task is to build an empire from a single castle. The world is stylish, with beautiful hand-drawn cartoonish graphics and very nice animations. The game is very simple to learn, but the more you play, the more depth you discover. You will be forced to player alliances and trade if you want to be successful and that’s what makes this browser game interesting. The best browser strategy game for 2013, you must all try it!
