Bullet Run bites the dust…

Sony Online Entertainment announced that they’ll be shutting down the servers of their short lived MMOFPS Bullet Run on March 8.

In a post on the official  Bullet Run’s forums, the studio announced that “after much review and consideration, Acony Games and Sony Online Entertainment have mutually made the decision to discontinue development on the free-to-play FPS game, Bullet Run.”

Membership charging has ended on February first but all players can keep playing until the games sunset on the 8th of March.  Any players who still had time on their Platinum Memberships as of that time will receive a “pro rata refund for any time remaining on [their] Bullet Run subscription[s]” from SOE. The full details can be found on the game’s official forums.
