DayZ mod now on Steam
If you always wanted to play DayZ but avoided the hassle of installing the custom Arma II modification and updating every new version, Steam brought the solution for you. The mod has been made available directly over Steam, meaning you can just click a couple of buttons and all the scary work is done for you.
You’ll need to own both Arma II and Arma II: Operation Arrowhead or Arma II: Combined Operations in order to install it. Once you have them installed, run them once and then you’re ready to install DayZ. Click download, click play and you’re ready!
As for the DayZ standalone client, no new information yet. We’ll keep you updated!
