Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn Beta Signups Announced
Square Enix has good news for all the Final Fantasy fans out there! The beta of the long awaited remade MMORPG is very close and the sign ups just started!
The beta will be split in to 3 phases. The first two will be available only for PC, while Playstation 3 beta test will start with the 3rd phase. Players will need to begin beta testing with new characters, which will be wiped at the end of phase three. From phase four onward, characters and such will continue on into the official game (barring the need for data wipes for unforeseen reasons).
Players that where in the alpha test of the game don’t have to apply again, but their access to Final Fantasy XIV beta test is not guaranteed. Legacy campaign members can join the beta test from the first phase without application.
