New Kickstarter Sandbox MMO : Divergence
Divergence: Online is the solo project of Ethan Casner, a sci-fi sandbox MMORPG that would stay true to the MMORPG roots and not be a generic big company MMO clone. Development started on 2006 but because of financial issues, the game had to be shelved 2 years ago.
Ethan Casner is attempting to make a comeback though, and launched a kickstarter campaign asking for $50.000 in order to finish what he started.
Divergance Online will be a Hardcore MMORPG, featuring open world PVP, player corpse looting and Limited Permanent-Death meaning that you will need insurance to get you clone coming back to life.
Kickstarter contributions begin at $10 and guarantee you a spot for beta testing that is estimated to start in July 2013.
