Path of Exile Launches Today
After many months in open beta, Path of Exile is finally launching today with some massive updates.
Scion, the game’s first prestige class is added. Because of her high learning curve, she’s initially unavailable to new players. Path of Exile’s Normal Difficulty must be completed in order to unlock her as an accessible character.
New content doesn’t stop with the addition of the new class. Act Three has been expanded with six more areas, three new quests and a grand finale boss fight.
Two new leagues have also been added in addition to the Standard and Hardcore league. The new leagues are named Domination and Nemesis and both have interesting properties that make them different from normal play like harder mobs and special shrines and objectives.
For all you bloodlusty ARPG players out there, PvP is also getting some love with the addition of new PvP modes like Dueling, Capture the Flag and Tournament Seasons.
