Planetside 2 : Server merges announced
SOE CEO John Smedley posted on his twitter page that there will soon be server merges in SOE’s MMOFPS Planetside 2.
“Server merges soon. Info coming by Monday. No server transfers coming till after that’s done. Wouldn’t be right doing it the other way around.”
When asked by a twitter user “Should we take this as an admittance that the game hasn’t been as successful as everyone had hoped?” Smedley answered “hah. No. Too many people went to some servers and not as many went to others. Simple as that.”
