World of Tanks No Longer Pay2Win!
World of Tanks is a really good game. For me, it had one fatal flow that made me stop playing. Players could buy consumables like ammo with cash and that gave them advantage over non paying players.
Wargaming.net listened to their playerbase and starting in Update 8.5, players will be able to purchase all premium consumables with silver credits. In addition, all players, both paying and non-paying, will be able to create 3-member platoons and companies. Free players will also get access to the new German and Soviet tanks.

The article is EXTREMELY deceiving. few things to note:

Well every player gets and always has had access. The only ppl who dont get access are the players who dont play

Really? Because people rarely even use those consumables anyways. You have wayyy better things to use your consumables for.

So wheres the pay2win aspect there? I dont see it. You get more features now as a non-payer, but its was never that these features were extremely game breaking (at best a 3 member vs 2 member platoon add an extra friend)
I have played all the World of Tanks games. Both on console and the free online versions such as those on http://jollymouse.com/ I actually prefer the free online versions not because they are free, but because usually, there are more players online than say console versions or mobile versions of tank games.
